Eleanor Davis has the distinction (or something) of being the only Lucky Peach illustrator that’s gotten to decide which sketches should be turned into finals for the magazine.

After she sent in a bunch of equally exciting sketches to accompany poems by Bei Dao in issue 5, I narrowed down my a couple favorites and asked her to just go with the ones that she’d feel most excited about doing. This might speak to my incompetence, but MOST LIKELY it speaks to Eleanor’s talent + smartz.
